Re the link to the report about the UK Government no longer giving daily updates on the virus.  The UK Government did a U-turn on this within 24 hours.  They called the first report a 'Communication fumble'...butterfingers.

Here is the link to the report in the Guardian  http://archive.is/ZEdDc

However, I noticed that as of 11.30 am this morning, 7th March, there have not been any update on yesterday's figures which seem to have been last updated yesterday afternoon around 2pm.  Nothing on the BBC, Guardian or Herald.

Are they having the weekend off?

Thank you Ann for the links

Just waiting for the Dug to come out now. Looks like Stuart Campbell may have been right all along.

Hard to feel optimistic this morning, someone say something to cheer me up.

GRA

I suggest you read this and, in particular, the Summary guide at the end which shows that Women's rights are protected under the Equality Act 2010 and hot overturned by the GRA whether amended or not.

There are far too many people being wound up on this issue by people deliberately spreading misinformation  in pursuit of their own agenda which has little if anything to do with the matter in hand.  People seem more prepared to believe a Tweet than a primary source or well thought out, referenced paper on the issue

The time for rational discussion is almost over - this has the potential to lose the SNP votes and set indy back ten years.

It is out of the social media closet now and becoming a toxic issue with voters. Whether it is a real issue or not may no longer be relevant, only the effect on the party is important now.

Why now, when the prize is so near? I find it very suspicious.

I don't do social media and I have not heard one single person in day to day life mention this issue, ever. I have also never heard it mentioned at any Yes group gathering. Am I living in a real-world bubble?

Glamaig, I felt exactly the same way. However, recently in my local friends, a young pro-indy staunchly SNP until now hetero couple, both expressed the view that if the SNP did not sort this right now their support was lost.

Young long time friends in the pub is about as real-world as it gets for me.
